Projektbeschreibung

The most important goal during this project was to create a consistent logic in displaying all content. The content was created especially for this website so there was no need for a migration. Our task was to create a fresh start and figure out our user journeys which would allow the visitors to stay on track while browsing the pages but at the same time the website needed to be easy to use by content editors.
To support the content and editor requirements, we had to create a web design that is fresh and consistent throughout the site and looks great overall.

To make this happen, we created a backend, which is highly customizable. Each content page can use a different color theme and paragraphs within t
e page can also have their own color settings. The structure of the pages is up to the editors and what the content is all about. Basic pages act as overview pages or landing pages (with their own navigation) for the other content types. We implemented various views for specific content types (like news or events), and there are also reusable elements on the site, which allows the editors to modify a piece of content in one place to change it on all of the pages that element is used.

This website has a lot of content and various content types so a search engine was needed. We used elastic search for this.
The result is a consistent looking, fresh, fully customizable, truly sustainable website, where each page is built for providing more information about organic culture.

Projektziele und -ergebnisse

To create a logic way of displaying the websites information and to create good working conditions for the content editors.
This was achieved by creating a highly customizable backend for the content editors and a clear way of displaying the content with consistent web design. Implementing elastic search also played a big role in reaching these goals.

Herausforderungen

The main technical challenges were to create a platform for the client, which can be customized in almost every aspect. The editors have the possibility to create pages with their choice of color, with any paragraphs they would like to use. The frontend has to respect this freedom, and has to match all the needs the editors have.
